I know the arch trend has been around for a bit but MAN, it's too good! And since we're all about home decor and helping you find beautiful things for your home and life, I wanted to put together a post with some of the ones I've been eyeing.

OUR TOP 3 TIPS FOR FURNITURE SHOPPING

As you jump into this journey of hunting for pieces for your home, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • If you can, shop in person! Usually with furniture, the goal isn't something cheap because that means, it's poorly made and will need to make its way to the dumpster in a year or so (if that). And we're not about that. The way around buying a piece of junk is to test out items for yourself in person. Do the drawers on the nightstand pull smoothly, or do they catch? Does the dining chair wiggle a little when you sit on it?
  • Read the reviews! While some people on the internet are looking to pick a fight or complain, most furniture reviews are honest and sometimes, they'll include pictures! PRO TIP: sort for items online by only 4-star reviews and up. This will weed out a lot of the poorly made items.
  • Measure, measure, measure! If something is cute online, don't buy it just because it's cute...buy it because it fits in your space. One of the worst things is getting excited for a piece to arrive, only to find it's too small, too large (fill in the blank). Proportions are important to consider when styling your home.

Ok, let's get into it! I plan to do a future blog that'll include my top shops when sourcing but for now, here are a few dreamy cabinets!

AVAILABLE AT SHOPS IN AND AROUND NASHVILLE

Head Springs Depot: The Fox & Roe Tolle Display Cabinet with Drawer Storage in Distressed Walnut Finish (shop here)

For a more open, elegant look, this cabinet is gorgeous! I love the slightly warmer wood tone and sleek legs.

Head Springs Depot: The Fox & Roe Hattie Glass 2 Door Cabinet in Natural Sand Blasted Finish (shop here)

I love that this one, again, has closed storage! This one is more of a china cabinet style but would be great for storing pretty books and accent decor.

Mayker Interiors: Sabella Cabinet (shop here)

This has soooo much storage...and can you even with the cane?! If it's not still "trendy", I don't care. It's perfect and I love it. SO THERE!😎

AVAILABLE ONLINE AND AT SOME RETAILERS

Crate & Barrel: Annie Natural Storage Cabinet by Leanne Ford (shop here)

I can't even handle the color, the rounded top, AND the rounded handles! And if there's anything we love in the Ritter household, it's closed storage. It always us the space to be as cluttered as we need...secretly. 😆

Crate & Barrel: Annie Natural Storage Bookcase with Shelves by Leanne Ford (shop here)

Same, but different ya know?🙃 I love this for when you want to show off your decor but still need a bit of storage.

Ok, I think that's a good start! I hope this helps as you shop for your home. If you shop any of these, I'd love to know! I
